As reported last week, the City has received a Draft Sustainability Plan with initiatives and recommendations aimed at improving the economic, environmental and social health of New Rochelle during the next twenty years. You can download a full copy of the draft HERE and relay comments to our Sustainability Coordinator Deborah Newborn HERE. (Several people have had difficulty with the download after receiving my original email on this subject last week. We have adjusted the file for easier download, so try again, if you had trouble previously.)
The City Council will hold a public hearing on the GreeNR Draft on Tuesday, May 11th at 7:30pm. The Sustainability Plan is a significant long-range vision and planning framework, so I encourage you to weigh in with your feedback and suggestions.
