On Saturday, the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade made its successful return to North Avenue and Main Street. It was a beautiful fall day with golden leaves all around, and I was grateful to march with Catie, Jeremy and Owen, and also to participate in the Pancake Breakfast earlier that day at New Rochelle High School.
Kudos to the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, John & Charles Valenti, the City’s Department of Parks & Recreation and Grand Marshal Ray “Doc” Kiernan for bringing the tradition back.
