The New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence exists to enrich the academic and extra-curricular experience of students in the New Rochelle public schools. It sponsors a wide range of programs and events, including Poetry Out Loud, concerts at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, SAT preparatory courses, and Civics Week, not to mention the outstanding Museum of Arts & Culture. I am proud to serve on the Fund’s Board of Directors and Catie volunteers for many of the Fund’s activities.
On October 26th, the Fund will hold its annual Foundation Awards Gala, with a great line-up of honorees, including my fellow alum from the class of 1987, Craig Carton, New York’s top-rated sports radio host.
